Here’s one of Bleu’s favorite activities: singing!
Although she’s a “delayed talker”, that didn’t stop her from belting one of her favorite songs to date.
“No No Bedtime Song” by Cocomelon is the first ever song that we learned to sing as a Mother and Daughter duet that’s why this is also very special and memorable for me.
You will notice that even though she’s still not able to make sense of the lyrics, she’s already able to carry out the tune and do some actions as well depending on what part of the song we’re singing.
And the more impressive part is the fact that she knows which lines of the song were JJ’s (except for the last line of every verse because she’d rather do the giggling!) that’s why as if we were singing like we’re responding to each other’s queues.
She learned to sing this way although no one was teaching her.
I just heard her one time singing a few of JJ’s lines that’s why I thought of singing the other person’s line to accompany her.
And to my surprise, she started singing it with me by responding and I noticed that her eyes would light up every time I do it.
Then the rest was history 🙂
