BTS SUGA Ranks 4th in Best-Selling Rap Albums in the US Over the Past 10 Years

I’m so proud of BTS SUGA for achieving this and we’re talking about physical album copies here!

According to recent Billboard statistics, BTS member SUGA’s first full-length album “𝗗-𝗗𝗔𝗬” sold over 118,000 copies in the US alone in its first week of release. 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗨𝗚𝗔’𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗯𝘂𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗼𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗿𝗮𝗽 𝗮𝗹𝗯𝘂𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟬𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗛𝗬𝗦𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗦 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟬 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀.

Only 6 Rap albums have sold over 100,000 copies in their first week of release over the past 10 years:

1️⃣ “UTOPIA” by Travis Scott (252,000 copies)
2️⃣ “Legends Never Die” by Juice WRLD (209,000 copies)
3️⃣ “No Pressure” by Logic (172,000 copies)
4️⃣ “𝗗-𝗗𝗔𝗬” 𝗯𝘆 𝗦𝗨𝗚𝗔/𝗔𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗗 (𝟭𝟭𝟴,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗲𝘀)
5️⃣ “Music To Be Murdered By” by Eminem (117,000 copies)
6️⃣ “The Death of Slim Shady” by Eminem (114,000 copies)

𝙎𝙊𝙐𝙍𝘾𝙀: 𝘿𝙄𝙋𝙀 (𝘿𝙞𝘀𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙘𝙝)

I’m pretty sure that with all humility, SUGA would still be in disbelief knowing that he’s outsold his idol (EMINEM).
