It is incredibly enthralling how news can become viral and travel with speed through the power of the Internet.
On the other hand, it is scary that once news, information, or a rumor is out there — regardless of evidence or lack thereof — it has the power to spread, grow, and potentially destroy a person’s career.
Though creating awareness is important, it is dangerous if we advocate for something we do not educate ourselves on.
Just as the truth can be distorted, we can be manipulated into believing a lie.
When something suddenly becomes a trend, everyone is jumping in to speak up — but do we actually know what we are speaking out for?
“UGH!” encourages us to pause and reflect, and to ask the question — What is the impact of our anger?
